These applications are available, together with their source code, as examples of the sort of thing you can build using Zimki. You can easily take any of these applications, load them into your account as a new realm, and start looking at the source and editing it.
If you want to try editing the source, just download one of the zipfiles below. Go to your Realm List page, and select 'Restore Realm'. Upload the source zipfile as a new realm, and you'll be running the demo application yourself.
Demo applications we have so far are:
Zimki development blog
Here we blog about new and coming features in Zimki. The blog itself is written in Zimki, and supports multiple users, RSS feeds, and commenting. It's an example of a fully server-side JavaScript application that builds its pages from HTML templates.
Shopping Basket
A direct port of the scriptaculous application, this demonstrates rich client-side application functionality.
Wiki
Written during a quiet period at d.Construct, this tiny wiki has both complete version history of pages, and client-side live preview of markup.
Photo Uploader
Demonstrating file upload, thumbnailing and commenting, this photo uploader isn't going to replace flickr any time soon. But it's still a nice demo.
WhatNote
This is a Flash-based music notation game. Test your reading skills and see if you can get 10/10. The game's score are handled by zimki and served as a web service.
Team Tracker
This is an application using DHTML and XML HTTP requests to published Zimki services. It allows small teams to track each other's activity and edit their diaries.
